As an aggressive player, I have been taught a number of valuable lessons while wagering over the decades. It does not matter if you are partial to play at the ‘bricks and mortar’ type or the many net casinos. Here are my all important protocols of betting, many of which may be deemed clear thinking, but if accepted they will assist you in going a long way to leaving with a sense of enjoyment.
Rule one: Go to a casino with a set sum that you are willing and can manage to wager – How much would it cost for a night out on diner, drinks, cover charges and tips? This is an excellent sum to use.
Rule two: Don’t take your credit card out with you – or any other means of getting cash out. Don’t worry about cash for the taxi if you throw away all your money; most cab operators, specifically the cabs booked by casinos, will drive you to your apartment and are more than happy to wait for the money when you get home.
Rule 3: Stay to your predetermined cutoff. I frequently think of what I would want to purchase should I win. The previous time I was able to go, I determined I would really would like to purchase a new digital camera which retailed at $400, so that was my upper limit. As soon as I surpassed that sum, I walked away. Just quit. Even if Mystic Megan herself approaches with you the upcoming number for the roulette wheel, ignore her and quit. Leave safe in the knowledge that you will be going into the mall and buying a great new toy!
Rule 4: Have a good time. When you are "energetic" you will succeed. It’s a fact. I do not understand the reason why, but it really is. Just after it feels like a chore, or you are just wagering to make a profit you have lost, you usually will fritter away even more. When you are succeeding, feeling an excellent experience with your buddies, or your significant other, you usually will earn even more.
